Welcome to Muzitots
Vera is fully qualified as an Infant Massage Instructor and a Baby Yoga Instructor and is keen to share her knowledge and experience of the benefits of touch with movement and stretching to you and your baby.
Vera has two teenage children and was inspired by their early development and learning. She embarked on an Early Years career more formally and completed a BA (Hons) in Childhood Education. Vera has worked in Early Years Education for over sixteen years. She was the manager of two pre-schools in the local area and utilised music and movement, rhythm and rhyme and a range of physical skills on a daily basis. She has seen that by incorporating music and movement into a child's daily routine the child will develop vital skills which are needed in early speaking, reading and writing. Above all, children should have fun while they learn. With this in mind, she decided to set up Muzitots in 2014, and tailor the children's learning around these important aspects. Vera continues to develop the programme to ensure that the sessions are enjoyable for all.
The Infant Massage Course (Diploma) and the Baby Yoga course are fully accredited by the Royal College of Midwives and approved by the Complementary Therapists Association, IPTI and IICT.
Vera is also fully trained in Children's Yoga and now teaches story yoga in pre-schools and as an after school club.
Vera has added Story Massage to her skills and incorporates these in her Music and Movement sessions as well as Song and Action sessions.
Vera has now also added Tibetan Hand and Arm Massage to her skills. She is open to share this ancient massage with mums who need a little relaxing or anyone else. The course is approved by the Professional Ethical Practitioners and The Guild of Holistic Therapists.
